Role Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Project Superintendent is to oversee the field construction of projects, ensuring completion on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with specified quality standards. This full-time, onsite role involves managing all field activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety: Collaborate with the Safety/Environmental Director to uphold our stringent safety standards through regular audits and by conducting weekly comprehensive safety meetings with all site personnel.

  • Quality: Implement a site-specific quality program to guarantee project completion that meets our highest standards. Set quality expectations for employees and ensure subcontractors and vendors adhere to our excellence criteria.

  • Scheduling: Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, including regular updates and delay tracking. Optimize work sequences and oversee subcontractor compliance with the master schedule.

  • Storm Water Management: Conduct timely stormwater audits and manage the project’s stormwater program proactively.

  • Jobsite Management: Ensure subcontractor compliance with all project specifications and drawings. Oversee building commissioning and close-out processes, ensuring all inspections meet project timelines and regulatory requirements. Maintain detailed daily logs, manage documentation submissions, and uphold professional relationships with all project stakeholders.

Candidate Profile:

  • 4–8 years of experience as a commercial superintendent, with a track record of managing projects valued at $20 million or more.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with project managers, owners, architects, and team members.
  • Software: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel), Bluebeam, and project scheduling software (Microsoft Project preferred).
  • Comprehensive understanding of drawings, contracts, and specification documents.
  • Certifications: SWPPP, OSHA 30 – Familiarity with local storm water regulations and inspection processes.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
