Compensation: $130,000 – $150,000 annually (dependent on experience)

We are seeking a Senior Estimator to join our Preconstruction team. This role focuses on preparing and managing detailed cost estimates for complex industrial projects, with delivery methods including CM/GC, Design-Build, and Design-Bid-Build. The ideal candidate will lead subcontractor bid management, provide strategic guidance during preconstruction, and mentor junior estimators to strengthen the department.
- Software Expertise: Proficiency with tools like Procore and On-Screen Takeoff.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop estimating teams effectively.
- Project Scale: Extensive experience with industrial projects valued at $20M+.
- Certifications: Credentials like CPE or LEED Accreditation are a strong advantage.
- Performance Focus: Demonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines and maintain cost estimate accuracy.
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for industrial construction projects valued at $20M–$50M+.
- Manage subcontractor solicitation, bid evaluations, and proposal reviews during preconstruction.
- Conduct site visits to gather critical data for RFPs and proposals.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, scope changes, and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Ensure budget accuracy within 5% of final project costs.
- Train and mentor junior estimators to enhance team expertise and efficiency.
- Leverage advanced tools like Procore, On-Screen Takeoff, dashboards, and cost models for precise project planning.
- 7+ years of construction estimating experience in industrial projects exceeding $20M.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in Procore, On-Screen Takeoff, and MS Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and cost control.
- Leadership experience in mentoring and managing estimators.
- Certifications like CPE or LEED Accreditation are preferred.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and ensure high estimate accuracy.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
