This person will be responsible for generating scopes of work, estimates, and ensuring the team understands and delivers a quality project within company profit margin expectations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Take calls during and after hours to receive leads, coordinate team, and communicate with customer.
• Receive leads, schedule project walks with clients to review and develop a scope of work.
• Develop scope of work and estimates based off customers’ needs on multiple project types including but not limited to the following: Mitigation, Remediation, Demolition, Containment, Rebuild/Reconstruction, Capital Improvement, Exterior Envelope repairs and replacements.
• Utilize Matterport, pictures, and other documentation to create estimates/scope of work.
• Collaborate with other team members to create an accurate and profitable estimate/scope of work.
• Deliver timely estimates to HRS team members as well as clients.
• Attending industry-related functions for marketing purposes as required.
• Build a positive rapport with adjusters, owners’ representative and all other customers.
• Be able to work in multiple estimating systems/software.
• Understand line-item definitions for correct use of related items.
• Understand and utilize all insurance carrier estimating guidelines.
• Write estimates and changes to estimates in a timely manner.
• Prepare and provide in writing client’s payment and production schedules, and client selection sheets with deadlines.
• Review jobs with the Project Manager going over scopes and budgeting at the beginning of every job.
• Review insurance supplements and customer change orders with the Project Manager.
• Conduct regular job costs monitoring against the budget for any expenses charged to jobs and discuss discrepancies with the Project Manager immediately.
• Contribute to the department’s base of professional subcontractors.
• Ensure safety compliance and organization on all jobs.
• Participate in on call rotation to receive and dispatch team after hours.
• Experience with Xactimate X1.
• Must be able to provide estimates outside Xactimate based on job specific requirements and owner requests.
• Must be okay working onsite at HRS corporate office in Centennial, CO.
• Must be able to drive to and from projects.
• Applicants must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must be reliable, punctual & have great customer service.
• Must be an outgoing individual with good problem-solving skills.
• In this position you must have the skills to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to receive constructive feedback.
• Insurance Restoration Estimating/Xactimate Experience required, or equal commercial construction estimating experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Insurance Restoration Estimating and/or Commercial Construction Estimating preferred.
• Must have strong construction knowledge.
• Must be able to write and establish budgets and job-costing.
• Flexible schedule: some nights and weekends may be required.
