Position: Project Manager – Metal Division

Summary: We are seeking a Project Manager for our Glass and Metal Divisions. The Project Manager will oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring they move smoothly through various departments such as Estimating, Contracts Administration, Engineering, Manufacturing, and finally to the field. The goal is to maximize efficiency and profit by managing materials, schedules, and labor effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Project Schedule: Develop and implement detailed project schedules, including labor planning for shop and field.
- Client Liaison: Act as the main contact between the company and key stakeholders like General Contractors, Architects, Engineers, and Owners.
- Materials Management: Prepare and submit materials that meet project specifications and manage any substitution requests.
- Scope Review: Ensure all projects comply with scope and contract documents.
- Schedule Management: Maintain and update project schedules to track milestones and deadlines.
- Cost Control: Perform material take-offs and manage project costs for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Reporting: Generate and submit monthly cost reports, billings, and projections, and track change orders.
- Procurement: Manage purchase orders and material deliveries, ensuring optimal pricing.
- Compliance: Adhere to documentation standards, LEED requirements, and maintain internal logs.
- Communication: Draft communications to contractors and consultants, generate RFIs, and maintain effective internal and external communication.
- Support: Provide field support and use a preemptive approach to address potential challenges.
