WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure alignment with construction schedule needs.
  • Perform necessary take-offs to estimate production rates effectively.
  • Oversee total integration of construction schedule activities.
  • Identify schedule constraints and their impact on project timelines.
  • Analyze scheduling considerations and challenges due to inter-discipline or functional restraints.
  • Conduct schedule analysis and identify critical project activities.
  • Review RFPs to understand scheduling milestone dates, deliverable requirements, software specifications, and deviations from scheduling policies.
  • Assist in developing Master Project Schedules (MPS) to align with contract requirements and internal scheduling policies.
  • Develop site logistics plans, including phased scheduling as necessary.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred (or equivalent construction scheduling experience). Field experience is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of construction project planning experience.
  • Experience with Primavera (Oracle) P6 version 23 and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong background in project planning, critical path analysis, and schedule performance measurement.
  • Experience with On Center Software preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills for meetings and training sessions.
  • Proven leadership, interpersonal, and coaching abilities.
  • Solid understanding of construction practices across multiple disciplines to effectively communicate schedule needs.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and analyze contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules.
  • Effective time management, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A proactive and initiative-driven mindset with the ability to adapt to complex challenges.
