ABOUT OUT CLIENT

Our client is a national general contractor focusing on corporate interiors. They are actively looking for a Superintendent to support DFW’s influx of new company headquarters.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Superintendent will have overall construction site responsibilities of overseeing the remodel of large interiors to be converted to corporate offices with the expectation of finishing on time and under budget.

Select Responsibilities:

• Review the Building Specification to confirm material, subcontractor, and equipment criteria and identify potential project document conflict.
• Maintain project plans, communication, correspondence, and subcontracts.
• Review, coordinate and implement the safety measures and applicable company programs for the project required to conform with OSHA standards and to ensure a safe workplace.
• Monitor project labor productivity and material quantity requirements. Keep the company informed of any deviations from the original budgets.
• Completely review, coordinate, and implement the quality assurance program developed for the project.
• Review project punch list and oversee completion of all project disciplines necessary to receive a certificate of occupancy.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ or more years of construction industry experience with a minimum of five as a lead superintendent
• Proven track record of successfully overseeing projects valued at $20M+
• Local experience preferred but the client will relocate candidate with strong experience
• Team player with a focus on building quality projects within budget and on schedule
• Knowledge of field supervision and quality control of all phases of construction along with the ability to manage/develop field engineers and assistant superintendents
