• HOTELS: Hyatt Place at 701 3rd Street, San Francisco, CA – 230-room, 120,000 SF full-service hotel near Oracle Park. LEED Platinum project featuring vegetated roofs, a greywater system, and sustainable mechanical systems. Includes a public courtyard at ground level and roof decks on the 9th and 12th floors. • THEATER: Ford Theatres renovation, Los Angeles, CA – Restoration of the historic 1,200-seat John Anson Ford Theatres, originally built in 1920. The project included extensive demolition, design-build shoring, fire suppression, new retaining walls, site drainage, below-stage expansion, theatrical AV and lighting, MEP system upgrades, and historic preservation. • OFFICE: 270 Brannan Splunk headquarters, San Francisco, CA – Demolition of an existing parking lot and two-story concrete structures for the construction of a 202,103 SF, 5-and-6-story Class A office space with one level of below-grade parking. The building is arranged around a central courtyard, split into two masses connected by the core, featuring a signature open glass rooftop canopy, outdoor seating, a water feature, and a living plant wall. • MULTIFAMILY: 1321 Mission, San Francisco, CA – 11-story, 160-unit residential tower on a tight urban site, with a single-level basement designed for efficient living. ($32M, Superintendent)
• OFFICE: 49 South Van Ness, San Francisco, CA – Ground-up, 530,129 SF steel structure office building for the San Francisco Department of Public Works. Includes two levels of below-grade parking, 16 levels of office space, and a one-stop shop permitting center for multiple city agencies. Project scope included demolition, shoring, excavation, and self-performed concrete work. ($220M, Superintendent)
• HEALTHCARE: UCSF Mt. Zion Medical Center, San Francisco, CA – Seismic improvements to Buildings B and D in an occupied facility. Interior retrofit work also performed in Building A as part of a multi-phased construction project. (Sr. Supt.)
