Our client is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join their growing Austin-based team. This is an urgent, high-impact hire for someone who wants to be part of a tight-knit group of passionate builders working on high-quality commercial projects across Central Texas.

This is not a “just show up and manage the schedule” type of role—this team is looking for someone who genuinely loves building and wants to be surrounded by others who feel the same way.


Project Types:

  • Class A Office Interiors (including high-end law firms)
  • Adaptive Reuse / Historic Conversions
  • High-End Retail/Restaurant
  • Specialty / High-End Concepts (e.g., boutique hospitality, wellness spaces)
  • Typical project sizes range from $2M – $10M

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all on-site construction activities from preconstruction through closeout
  • Coordinate subcontractors, schedules, and site logistics to ensure timely delivery
  • Work closely with ownership and internal teams during early project phases (many projects are negotiated)
  • Maintain quality control and enforce safety standards on site
  • Drive schedule performance and proactively solve field issues
  • Represent the company professionally during client interactions and jobsite meetings

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of commercial construction experience
  • Proven experience as a lead Superintendent on projects in the $2M – $10M range
  • Strong background in interiors and/or ground-up commercial projects
  • Comfortable being involved in early-stage project planning and client-facing interactions
  • Procore experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Must have a genuine passion for construction and take pride in building

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary: $130K – $150K
  • Bonus: 3–10% (historically exceeded expectations)
  • Mid-year raises and promotion opportunities
  • Vehicle allowance: $550/month
  • Phone allowance: $80/month
