Our client is a well-established commercial general contractor with a growing portfolio of industrial and mission-critical projects across the country. They are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to lead large-scale ground-up construction projects from start to finish.

Typical Projects

• Ground-up tilt-wall warehouses
• Distribution centers
• Industrial manufacturing facilities
• Cold storage facilities
• Food & beverage processing plants
• Large commercial and specialty industrial projects

Projects generally range from $20M-$150M+ depending on size and scope.

Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site construction activities from mobilization through closeout
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
• Maintain project schedules and drive production
• Enforce safety standards and quality control
• Lead subcontractor meetings and daily site operations
• Coordinate inspections and owner walkthroughs
• Work closely with Project Managers to keep projects on schedule and within budget

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Superintendent experience with a commercial or industrial general contractor
• Strong ground-up construction experience
• Experience managing tilt-wall, warehouse, distribution center, manufacturing, cold storage, or food processing projects
• Comfortable traveling full-time for projects
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain aggressive schedules
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, or similar construction software
