Our client, a well-established commercial general contractor in the Dallas-Fort Worth market, is seeking a Project Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2–5 years of project management experience who is looking to take ownership of projects while working with an experienced leadership team.

The company specializes primarily in commercial interior construction, with a strong focus on medical office buildings (MOBs), ambulatory surgery centers, healthcare renovations, corporate office interiors, and select light industrial projects. Approximately 85% of their work is interiors, with the remaining 15% consisting of ground-up commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and overall project documentation.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, architects, and owners throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Track project costs and ensure financial objectives are met.
• Partner closely with Superintendents to maintain quality, safety, and schedule.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager with a commercial general contractor.
• Experience managing commercial interior projects is highly preferred.
• Medical office building, healthcare, surgery center, office interiors, or light industrial experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
