A well-established national commercial general contractor is seeking a Superintendent to join its growing San Antonio operation, overseeing high-quality commercial construction projects throughout the local market.

What You’ll Do

• Lead day-to-day field operations for commercial interior, tenant improvement, renovation, and corporate office projects throughout the San Antonio market.
• Manage subcontractors, site logistics, scheduling, safety, quality control, and overall project execution.
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, clients, architects, engineers, and trade partners from preconstruction through closeout.
• Maintain project schedules and proactively identify and resolve potential field challenges.
• Oversee work in occupied and operational environments, minimizing disruption while maintaining safety and project standards.
• Conduct subcontractor coordination meetings, inspections, punch walks, and project closeout activities.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the high level of finish expected by the company’s clients.
• Build strong relationships with clients and trade partners while representing the company professionally in the field.

What We’re Looking For

• Commercial construction experience with a general contractor.
• Strong experience with Class A commercial interiors, corporate office, tenant improvement, and/or renovation projects.
• Proven ability to independently manage projects in the field from mobilization through turnover.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction sequencing, MEP coordination, scheduling, safety, and quality control.
• Experience working in occupied or logistically complex environments is highly valued.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage subcontractors while interacting professionally with clients.
• A detail-oriented Superintendent who takes ownership of both the construction process and the finished product.
