ROLE OVERVIEW

Provide scheduling leadership and support for Shaw Construction projects by developing, preparing, and updating construction schedules. Serve as the primary scheduler for assigned projects, supporting Marketing, Preconstruction, and Operations while protecting Shaw’s interests in all scheduling matters.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create detailed CPM schedules and schedule proposals for Marketing, Preconstruction, and Operations
• Visit jobsites to review status, update schedules, and identify sequencing or performance concerns
• Provide feedback to project teams on schedule risks and improvement opportunities
• Lead critical path analysis, delay analysis, and schedule impact assessments
• Support recovery planning and alternate work sequencing for problem projects
• Adjust schedules based on market and regional factors such as labor, materials, and weather
• Develop and teach CPM planning and scheduling training programs for operations and self-perform teams
• Attend coordination meetings with subcontractors, owners, and clients as required
• Prepare and present monthly schedule progress reports to project teams and leadership

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 5+ years of building construction experience
• Expert-level CPM scheduling experience required (ASTA)
• Working knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
• Strong understanding of construction documents, means and methods, and sequencing
• Ability to perform schedule impact analysis and communicate impacts clearly to project teams and ownership
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and travel to jobsites as needed
