Our client is seeking a Project Engineer to support large-scale aviation construction projects at DFW Airport. This is an opportunity to join a well-established commercial general contractor with a strong pipeline of airport work including terminal renovations, infrastructure upgrades, occupied renovations, and airside/landside improvements.

The ideal candidate will have prior aviation construction experience and understand the unique challenges of working in active airport environments including logistics, phasing, security requirements, and coordination with multiple stakeholders.

Project Types:

• Airport terminal renovations & expansions
• Occupied renovations within active terminals
• Airside / landside improvements
• Infrastructure and support facility projects
• Large-scale commercial construction in secure environments

Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Managers and Superintendents with daily project operations
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and material deliveries
• Track project schedules and assist with schedule updates
• Support buyout and procurement efforts
• Attend OAC meetings and coordinate with airport authorities, inspectors, and stakeholders
• Maintain accurate project records and reporting
• Help ensure compliance with safety standards, airport regulations, and project specifications
• Assist with quality control and closeout processes

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of commercial construction experience
• Previous aviation/airport project experience required
• Experience working in occupied or highly regulated environments preferred
• Strong understanding of construction documents and project processes
• Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and scheduling software
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
